Purpose
The open XRF scanner M6 is an X-ray fluorescence-analysis equipment that specifically provides two-dimensional analysis of element components of all kinds of artefacts. Its two-dimensional images provide experts in artefact conservation and historical research with clear information on the materials, production techniques, storage and restoration of artefacts. The device has completed element-component analysis of flat or almost flat artefacts such as stained glass, enamels, calligraphy and paintings, thangkas, bronze ware, mosaics and lacquerware.
Accessory
The device is equipped with a helium-purge system that may, to a certain extent, strengthen the test results of light elements.
