Purpose
The device analyses substance compositions based on the interaction between laser and substances. It offers high-resolution, high-sensitivity, rapid, non-destructive and contactless examination. Apart from metal, it can also analyse almost all the substances and their chemical bonds and may be used for assessing minerals and gemstones, analysing paints and dyes and examining rust.
Accessory
The device is equipped with laser sources for four different wavelengths, namely 325 nm, 532 nm, 633 nm and 785 nm. Confocal microscopy is enabled for both the main device and the open microscope. The fibre-optic probes with the wavelengths of 532 nm and 785 nm allow in situ analysis of large and irregular-shaped artefacts.
