Tough black crusts had formed on the carbonate rocks on the ground floor of Crystal Palace in the Palace Museum, which are generally caused by the external environment and may attach strongly to marble surfaces. The thick and loose deposits had concealed the original patterns of the stone structure, and the use of laser has removed them to reveal the true beauty of the structure.
