Huang Zhishu,styled Gengwan, was also known by her literary name "Lanju Laoren". Active from the mid Qianlong to Jiaqing reigns, she was a native of Wuchuan and wife of Hong Zhuo. Skilled in painting landscape, flowers and birds, she was especially good at painting orchids with double outlines.
