Sun's donation to the Palace Museum includes
many treasures such as the Tang-dynasty 'green mountain' celadon fired
in the Yue kiln and the white porcelain (known as 'like silver, like snow')
from the Xing kiln. Notable among other treasures are, from the Song dynasty,
Guan ware plates and a washer with a mallow-petal mouth; a Ge ware vase
and a three-legged incense burner with two handles; a Ru ware washer;
a Ding ware mallow-petal washer; and from the Yuan dynasty, a red glazed
stem bowl with an underlying design of dragon and clouds. All these ceramics
reflect Sun's discriminating taste.
